Geekdom Offers More Than A Cool Workspace

Geekdom Offers More Than A Cool Workspace

Imagine having access to 15,000 square feet for about $50 month a month…not bad if you’re trying to get your business off the ground.

Geekdom is a collaborative space for individuals working with technology, or for “geeks” who just want to share and get feedback. Geekdom members have access to an affordable work space to inspire creativity and exploration. Ideal for start ups, Geekdom is also great for networking and collaborating. Rackspace’s Chariman Graham Weston started the nonprofit that serves as a hub for technologists, developers, creators and entrepreneurs.

Aside from a work space, Geekdom membership offers free seminars and workshops, a library, game room, conference rooms, and individual office spaces for up to 150 members. In return, members are expected to provide mentoring services to fellow Geekdom members. Student memberships are available for $10 per month. Geekdom’s education outreach gives high school and college students opportunities to share project ideas, brainstorm with other Geekdom members and participate in the seminars.

Geekdom is more than just office space to rent. It’s a place to share and learn.
