San Antonio Honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Each year, San Antonio pays tribute and honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with one the largest marches in the country.

If you’re interested in taking part in this year’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March, the event is scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2012. The march will begin at 10 a.m. at the MLK Academy located in the 3500 block of MLK Drive and end at Pittman-Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa (click here for march route and info).

More than 100,000 adults and children are expected to attend.
