It appears that Smart phones are not the only ones getting smarter.

High school students are turning to their Smart phones for apps or applications to reinforce learning, and teachers are nodding in approval. Popular apps range from SAT review, free graphing calculator, Dictionary.com Flashcards, Stanza, Rocket Math, Teach Me Toddler, MyHomework and other games to stimulate, entertain, supplement and review.

While most apps are free, there are many Smart phone applications that can be downloaded for a small fee. Prices range from $.99 to $5.99. Apps can be downloaded to phones, iPads or other mobile devices. So next time you’re driving your student to school, have her review math facts on your Smart phone.
