First day on the job for the new campus president.

Northeast Lakeview College welcomed Dr. Craig T. Follins to campus today. Follins succeeds founding president Eric Reno who retired in January.

Dr. Craig T. Follins has more than 20 years experience in education. He recently served as president of Olive-Harvey College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago. Other leadership positions he held were in workforce and economic development at Cuyahoga Community College (Cleveland, Ohio), Victoria College (Texas), and Houston Community College.

He earned his Ph.D. in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in clinical sociology and a B.A. in  sociology.

Northeast Lakeview College is one of the five Alamo Colleges.
