Financial Aid training available at cafécollege

As students prepare for the college admission process, another application that needs to be submitted on a timely basis is the Free Application for Free Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA is crucial for students who want to attend college.

In order to assist as many students as possible, cafécollege is offering FAFSA training based on the National Training for Counselors and Mentors (NT4CM) standards.

NT4CM is sponsored by Federal Student Aid (FSA), National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs (NCHELP), National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), American School Counselor Association (ASCA), National College Access Network (NCAN), and Council for Opportunity in Education (COE).

The state training program offers free training, resources, and tools for counselors and mentors working with students and their families as they prepare financial aid applications.
