Learn to be a pastry chef at St. Philip’s College

This program has all the right ingredients to land you a job in the hospitality field.

So you think you’re a “cake boss?” The Baking and Pastry Arts program at St. Philip’s College gives you a solid foundation to becoming trained in the food industry. Designed to be completed in two years, graduates of the program are trained to work in restaurants, hotels, catering establishments and grocery store bakery departments.

Aside from learning basic food preparation and food safety, students learn fundamental baking and pastry skills, cake decorating and instruction on commercial preparation of a wide variety of products. Small class settings give students valuable, hands-on learning as they practice on classroom and real-world projects.

The program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation Foundation Accrediting Commission.
