Trinity to offer STEM grants to undergraduates

New grant opportunity for science majors.

Trinity University announced a new funding source for science majors. The FASTER (Financial Aid for Science and Technology Students Enhanced with Research) grant will award up to 50 students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).

Science majors may be eligible for the $5,000 grants that will be awarded annually. The grants are designed to benefit first-generation and underrepresented students but declared STEM majors are encouraged to apply.

The FASTER grant is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
