UTSA/Alamo Colleges sign transfer agreement

Engineering majors will have an easier time transferring to UTSA with the new Alamo Colleges agreement.

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and the Alamo Colleges signed a memorandum of understanding last month to establish the Transfer Academy for Tomorrow’s Engineers (TATE). The agreement provides a “seamless transition” for students who meet all requirements and grants admission to the School of Engineering.

TATE students may enroll at any of the five Alamo Colleges where they will receive advising and support during their studies. After students complete their Associate of Science degree in Engineering, they will find additional program guidance and instruction at UTSA.
