Kids can be exposed to fun STEM field subject areas

SASTEMIC’s Geekbus will be hosting 4 day Maker Summer Camp sessions in July, which will focus on teaching kids about the fun aspects of technology.  The camps are designed for kids in K-8th grade, and will feature video game design, robotics, stop motion animation, 3D printing, and other Maker activities.

There are 3 available camp sessions to choose from: July 8- 11 (K-2), July 15 -18 (Grades 3-6), July 28- 31 (Grades 6-8).  Camps start at 9 am and last til 3 pm.  Each session will be held at Hallmark College, and will only cost $100 for students of economically disadvantaged families.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.
