Camp Guadalupe offers culturally rich programs

Campers explore creativity and develop talent in the arts at Camp Guadalupe.

The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (GCAC) is offering Camp Guadalupe to children ages 8-12 years old. The six-week camp runs from June 11 – July 27 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Lunch is included. The weekly camp cost is $100 per week. (All participants must have a current GCAC membership at the $25 level.) Camp Location: Guadalupe Gallery, 723 S. Brazos Street.

The multi-disciplinary experiences the camp offers allows students to develop skills in the arts, dance, theatre, media and creative writing. Campers can register for one or more weekly camps.

Students can participate in one or more of the week sessions.  Participants must be current GCAC membership at the $25 level.

** Teen summer classes are also available for kids ages 13-17 years old GCAC’s Teen Arts Puentes Project (TAPP). Two program sessions are offered: June 11 – 29 and July 9- 29. Teens participate in workshops theatre, visual arts, poetry and film. To learn more about TAPP, call 271-3151.
