Clearspring students train as peer mediators

Students focus on avoiding conflict.

Fifteen Clearspring Elementary students were recently trained to become Peer Mediators at their North East ISD campus. The students received training from the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center.

According to the district web site, the trained mediators will help fellow peers avoid conflict by following a process that allows the students to work toward a resolution, thus developing problem solving skills.
