Help local students by donating school supplies

Students will have a great start to their school year with new school supplies, thanks to your donations.

Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS-SA) has kicked off its annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive and needs your involvement. CIS-SA is collecting school supplies for children who would otherwise go without.

Donation bins are located at various sites, including select H-E-B grocery stores on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Additional school supplies drop-off times include Friday, August 9, 2013 between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Stuff the Bus warehouse. Volunteers are needed to oversee drop-off sites. If you would like to volunteer, download and complete a volunteer form

CIS-SA strongly encourages you to rally your team of friends, co-workers and colleagues, or any other volunteers and collect as many new school supplies as possible. Special incentives are offered for those teams who collect $1,000 or more:
• $3,000+ – Print media, Recognition on CIS-SA social media, a tool kit, an invite to their kick-off event and reveal party
• $2,000 – $3,000 – Recognition on CIS-SA social media, a tool kit, an invite to their kick-off event and reveal party
