SAISD to offer free meals to kids this summer

District students can continue enjoying free meals this summer.

San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) will continue offering free breakfast and lunches to district students as part of the Texas Department of Agriculture’s “Seamless Summer Nutrition Program.” One breakfast and one lunch meal will be provided to all students under the age of 18 years old beginning June 11 -August 9, 2013 (except the week of July 1).

Breakfast will be served from 7:00–8:30 a.m. at the elementary schools and from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at middle and high school locations. Lunch will be served from 12:00-1:00 at elementary and middle schools, and from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at the high school locations.
