Explores the arts at Southwest School of Art

The Southwest School of Art is offering summer art classes for students.
Classes for students ages 5-18 are available this summer at the Southwest School of Art Summer Art Studios.  All classes will be taught by a professional artist or educator, and each week will focus on a new topic. With over 100 classes available, students are guaranteed to find a subject matter they’re passionate about. The classes last one to two weeks long and are offered from June 2 – August 8, 2014. No prior artistic ability is needed.

Students seven and up can attend either morning (9 a.m. –  Noon) or afternoon (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.) sessions, but only morning classes are offered for 5 -6 year olds. These half day sessions cost $150 per week or $135 for SSA members. Certain classes may include additional fees. Full day care is available for $30/week for children who must arrive early or stay late.

The camps will be held across from the Central Public Library at the intersection of Augusta and Navarro. Registration is open all summer long.
