Alamo Heights crowns Homecoming King

Alamo Heights High School senior Drew Boynton was crowned Homecoming King in front of his family and peers.

The 17-year-old senior, who has Down Syndrome, beamed and jumped for joy when he heard his name announced as the 2011 Homecoming King. With the support of fellow classmates and peer mentors, Drew’s dream to wear the crown was fullfilled on Friday night’s game.
