Career Education Center offers low-cost services

Community receives low-cost hair cuts and color services from area students.

The Career Education Center Cosmetology program at South San ISD is offering low-cost hair services to any one interested in a hair cut or other beauty services.

Community members can visit the Career Education Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. and the third Thursday of every month from 4 – 7 p.m. The cosmetology students provide shampooing, manicures and facials.

Visitors to the Career Education Center campus must submit identification to be approved through the district’s security system. Visitors will be escorted to the site services.

According to news on the districts site, “All proceeds from the services will go toward future equipment purchases, training and student trips.”
