CyberPatriots take top honors at state competition

High school students learn and polish cyber security skills at regional and state competitions.

Southwest High School has reason to celebrate as more than 40 students were recently recognized for their outstanding performance at the CyberPatriot Premier National High School Cyber Defense Competition. Students who participate hone skills in cyber security and other STEM-related fields.

The team’s efforts paid off when they earned designation of CyberPatriot VI Southwest Region Finalists and State of Texas Champions by the CyberPatriot Commission and the San Antonio CyberPatriot Center of Excellence.

The Southwest High School team is competing online this Saturday, March 7 in the Top Open Division Team. Good luck!
