McCollum HS art students compete for $50,000

Can you see yourself wearing these spiffy art shoes designed by McCollum High School art students?

McCollum High School has been named one of the top 50 finalists in the Vans Custom Culture shoe design national competition. The art team is competing for $50,000 for their art classroom along with an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles, California to display their shoes in an art museum. About 1,000 other teams across the nation have submitted entries.

McCollum High School students will now have to wait to see if they made the cut. The top finalists will be announced on Friday, May 4. To see who made the cut, click HERE.
