Winners announced in South San car giveaway

South San Antonio Independent School District hosts first ever attendance incentive program.

The South Sansational Awards Program held at South San Antonio High School awarded prizes to students with excellent attendance. The grand prize was a new 2013 Honda Fit, courtesy of Fernandez Honda.  The lucky winner of the car was Ronald Butler. Additional prizes included a laptop computer won by Heber Reyes, a PlayStation 4 awarded to Jose E. Hernandez, an Ipad won by Jacylle Torres, an Ipad Mini awarded to Hector Montanez and Beats by Dre headphones won by Christopher Martinez.

The attendance initiative contest rewarded students who had the best attendance– thus, those students increased their chances of winning.

How It Works
Students with zero absences for the six weeks got their name entered three (3) times.
Students who missed one day got their name entered twice (two times).
Students with two absences received only one (1) entry.

The South Sansational Awards Program was held on May 15, 2014.
