Robotics scholarships available for teenagers

Do you know a student who is curious about robotics?

If so, point that student over to Northwest Vista College (NVC) TIER (Texas Institute for Educational Robotics) Programs. NVC  is offering scholarships for students interested in the Robotics Summer Camps. Scholarships are available for students entering 7th or 8th grade in the fall.

In order to qualify, middle school students must have attended a Title 1 school or have received free or reduced lunch this past school year. The camp run July 9 – 13, 2012 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Northwest Vista College.

Scholarships are also available for teenage girls ages 14- 18 years of age. The Robotics Summer Camp for girls begins August 13- 17, 2012.

NVC scholarships cover 100% tuition in most cases.
