STEM workshops and outreach forum planned

Attend one or both events on STEM.

Educators, community organizations, parents and anyone else who supports science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies is invited to attend the SciGirls and K-12 STEM Outreach Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at ESC Region-20, 1314 Hines.

SciGirls Educator Workshop, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
SciGirls is a weekly series on KLRN and a website. At this workshop, educators will have access to research and hands-on activities for engaging girls and boys to embrace STEM.

San Antonio Area K-12 STEM Outreach Forum, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Open to all educators, community organizations and individuals who work in science, technology, engineering and math. Come network and learn what resources are available to support STEM in your area.

The event is hosted in collaboration with ESC-20/Transformation 2013 Texas STEM Center, SASTEMIC and Davinci Minds. To register for one or both events, click HERE.
