Volunteers needed at Student Aid Saturdays

Volunteers needed at Student Aid Saturdays

One of the goals of SA2020 is to increase the number of students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to 80%. After all, research does show that students can increase their chances of attending college by simply completing a financial aid form.

This is a great time to get your organization or department involved and serve the community. Training is still available at cafécollege. As a volunteer, you can assist as a greeter, floater and/or  FAFSA expert. The FAFSA forms are not difficult, but many parents and students might have questions that you can assist them with to complete the application.

Remember, FAFSA training is available, so you’ll be equipped with the tools you need to help students file promptly to ensure federal aid.
